Plans renew automatically, monthly or annually, until you cancel; payments are not refundable, except where the law where you live gives you a refund right, which section 8.6 of the Terms sets out. Extra storage in 100 GB blocks at $10/mo, or 1 TB blocks at $35/mo (best value). White label and custom portal domains are included on Studio and Enterprise. Cutvey Free is for freelance crew and clients who are invited into a paid workspace: one seat, 5 GB of storage, and none of the paid limits above, because it runs no productions of its own.

Questions we actually get asked

Is the free trial the real product?
Yes. 14 days of the plan you pick, in full, no credit card up front. Switch plans any time during the trial. When it ends you confirm the plan you trialed or choose another; your data stays exactly where you left it for 60 days, then it is deleted if you have not chosen one.
What happens if I hit a plan limit?
Nothing breaks. You'll see an upgrade prompt when you try to add a seat, project, contact, proposal or automation past your limit, and you can archive old projects to free up room instead. Need more room? Add storage in 100 GB blocks for $10/mo, or 1 TB blocks for $35/mo, right from your billing page.
Can I switch plans or cancel any time?
Yes. Upgrades apply immediately; downgrades apply at your next billing date. Cancel whenever: your plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for and does not renew, and payments are not refundable except where the law where you live says otherwise (Terms, section 8.6). You can export everything (projects, contacts, invoices, files) before you go. No exit interviews, no hostage data.
Do my clients need accounts?
No. Clients review cuts, sign proposals, pay invoices, and download deliverables from links, no signup, no password. They can optionally use the client portal for an ongoing view of their projects.
We already use HoneyBook / Frame.io / StudioBinder. Why switch?
Each of those is good at its slice. The problem is the seams between them. That's where leads leak, invoices lag, and "which version is final?" lives. Cutvey replaces the whole chain so each phase triggers the next. See the full comparison.
How do payments and fees work?
Clients pay invoices online by card, ACH, or wire. Card and ACH payments run through your own Stripe account, so money goes straight to you and only standard Stripe processing fees apply. Cutvey never takes a cut of your revenue.
Is there onboarding help?
Enterprise includes guided onboarding, and we're happy to help any plan with setup and data migration; just ask. Most teams are running inside a week; the workflow mirrors how you already work, so there's not much to relearn.
What about my data?
It's yours. Full export any time (including a complete backup download), GDPR-grade deletion on request, and an audit log of every significant action. Details on the security page.
