Questions we actually get asked

Is the free trial the real product?
Yes — 14 days, every feature, no credit card up front. When the trial ends you pick a plan; your data stays exactly where you left it.
What happens if I hit a plan limit?
Nothing breaks. You'll see an upgrade prompt when you try to add a seat or project past your limit, and you can archive old projects to free up room instead. Storage overages can be enabled at $0.10/GB/mo if you'd rather not think about it.
Can I switch plans or cancel any time?
Yes. Upgrades apply immediately; downgrades apply at your next billing date. Cancel whenever — and you can export everything (projects, contacts, invoices, files) before you go. No exit interviews, no hostage data.
Do my clients need accounts?
No. Clients review cuts, sign proposals, pay invoices, and download deliverables from links — no signup, no password. They can optionally use the client portal for an ongoing view of their projects.
We already use HoneyBook / Frame.io / StudioBinder. Why switch?
Each of those is good at its slice. The problem is the seams between them — that's where leads leak, invoices lag, and "which version is final?" lives. Cutvey replaces the whole chain so each phase triggers the next. See the full comparison.
How do payments and fees work?
Clients pay invoices online by card, ACH, or wire. Standard payment-processor fees apply; Cutvey's optional platform fee is waived on Studio and Enterprise plans.
Is there onboarding help?
Enterprise includes guided onboarding, and we offer hands-on setup and data migration packages (from $299) for any plan. Most teams are running inside a week — the workflow mirrors how you already work, so there's not much to relearn.
What about my data?
It's yours. Full export any time (including a complete backup download), GDPR-grade deletion on request, and an audit log of every significant action. Details on the security page.
