These terms are an agreement between you and Cutvey ("Cutvey," "we," "us") governing your use of cutvey.com and the Cutvey application (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you're accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.
Cutvey is a business management platform for video production companies: leads, proposals, e-signature, project and crew management, review, invoicing, and delivery. We may improve or modify features over time; if we materially reduce core functionality of your paid plan, you may cancel and receive a pro-rated refund of prepaid, unused fees.
You own the content you put into Cutvey — proposals, footage, invoices, client records, all of it. You grant us only the limited license needed to host, process, transmit, and display that content in order to run the Service. We claim no other rights to your work. You're responsible for having the rights to the content you upload (including client footage, music, and personal data about your contacts) and for how you use e-signature and invoicing features in your jurisdiction.
Don't use the Service to break the law, infringe others' rights, distribute malware, send spam, attempt to breach or overload our systems, or resell access without an agreement with us. We may suspend accounts that put other customers or the Service at risk, and we'll tell you why unless the law prevents it.
The Service generates links for your clients (proposals, review, delivery, portals) that work without an account. You control who receives them and their expiry where the feature provides it. Anyone with a live link may access the content behind it — treat links accordingly.
The Service provides electronic signature functionality intended to comply with common e-signature frameworks (such as the U.S. ESIGN Act). You're responsible for determining whether e-signature is appropriate for a given document and jurisdiction.
The Service, its design, and its software are owned by Cutvey and protected by law. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under these terms. Feedback you send us may be used to improve the product without obligation.
The Service integrates with third-party services (payments, calendars, accounting). Those services have their own terms, and we're not responsible for them.
The Service is provided "as is." We work hard to keep it available and correct, but we don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Cutvey is a software tool — it is not legal, tax, or accounting advice, and generated documents (contracts, invoices, tax figures) should be reviewed by your own professionals.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and our total liability under these terms is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You can stop using the Service and delete your workspace at any time. We may terminate or suspend for material breach of these terms after notice and a reasonable chance to fix it where practicable. Sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability limits) survive termination.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, excluding its conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida, unless applicable law gives you rights to a different venue.
If we make material changes, we'll notify workspace owners by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
