Cutvey plans are not priced per person: Solo $49 a month for one, Pro $99 a month for 5 and Studio $199 a month for 20, or $29, $59 and $119 a month billed yearly. For one person sending up to ten proposals a month, Better Proposals Starter costs less. For five people it turns around: five Premium seats are $145 a month, or $105 billed yearly, and Cutvey Pro is $99, or $59 billed yearly, for five people and the rest of the job.
Where Better Proposals is strong
The build is clean and step by step, and its library runs to more than 260 templates by its own count. The client gets a polished web document with a signature block, and you get readable analytics on who opened what. From Premium it connects to your CRM, adds a custom domain and lets you remove its badge. If all you need is a better-looking quote with an e-signature, it does that job well.
Where it stops
Its pricing page is about the document: templates, pricing tables, signatures, a payment at signing and forms to collect what comes next. A payment at signing can be a deposit, the full amount or a first monthly payment, through Stripe, PayPal or GoCardless. The page lists no crew, call sheets, video review, file delivery or invoices of its own, so after the signature the job moves to other tools. Some controls sit on the top plan: a password on a document, inline commenting, manager approvals and a signing order are Enterprise only, and several signers start on Premium.
Cutvey's proposal composer works in three steps, Set up, Build and Send. It has grouped line items, up to four packages, add-ons, quantities the client sets, choice groups, a cover picker, a content library, merge tags, and a send screen with a link and a follow-up queue. Then the signature opens the project with the deposit invoice and the payment schedule, a separate contract is one press away, and the client gets a portal, timecoded review and a delivery page that opens when the final invoice is paid.
Your clients, in their language
Cutvey renders the client-facing proposal, contract, invoices, portal, review, booking pages, delivery pages, every client email and every PDF in 41 languages, chosen per client or per document: English (US and UK), French (France and Canada), Spanish (Spain and Latin America), German, Italian, Portuguese (Portugal and Brazil), Dutch, the Nordics, all of Central and Eastern Europe, Greek, Turkish, Ukrainian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, and Arabic, Hebrew and Farsi on the web. The studio side runs in the same 41 languages. Better Proposals' help center lists about 26 languages for its documents, set per brand.

When to choose Better Proposals
- You only need a good-looking quote with an e-signature, and another system runs the job.
- You sell something other than video, and a production layer would sit unused.
- You want a big template library to start from.
- You work alone, send up to ten proposals a month, and want the lowest price.
Where Cutvey falls short
The proposal builder is one part of a bigger product, so there is more to look at on day one. Solo allows 10 proposals a month and Pro allows 50, and a proposal password is on Pro and up. The template library is younger too: Cutvey opened to the public on November 1, 2026.
More on this: video proposal software, the free proposal template and how to write a proposal that closes.
Switching from Better Proposals
Your proposals are documents, so they move as content: paste each section into the Cutvey composer once, save the paragraphs you reuse to the content library, and save the whole thing as a template. Your pricing tables become rate cards. Your clients keep signing from a link with no account, the way they did before.
Frequently asked
Is Cutvey more expensive than Better Proposals?
For one person, yes: $19 a month, or $13 billed yearly, against Solo at $49 a month, or $29 billed yearly. For five people it turns the other way. Better Proposals is also one tool in a stack, and Cutvey covers the CRM, the invoicing, the call sheets, the review tool and the delivery you would otherwise buy around it.
What does a Cutvey signature record?
Who signed, when and from where, with a signed copy emailed to both sides. Whether a signed document binds anyone depends on its terms and the law where you work, and Cutvey does not warrant that a signature satisfies any law.
Do my clients need new accounts?
No. Clients read, sign, pay, review cuts and download files from links, in their own language, with no signup.
Can I try it before switching?
Yes. 14 days free, full product, no card. Send one real proposal through it before you move anything.
