Review and approve
Send a cut, get every note on the frame it is about, and know which version they approved. The approval starts the final invoice, so the money follows the work.
Notes on the frame
Your client watches the cut in Cutvey's own player, in up to 4K, and leaves notes pinned to the timecode. They can draw on the shot to show what they mean.
- Timecoded comments and drawing on the frame
- Playback up to 4K, with an HDR version where the file has one
- Waveform, keyboard shortcuts and a shuttle up to 8x
- Drop-frame timecode and the file's own start timecode
- Image, PDF and audio proofs in the same room
Every version, in order
Each new cut stacks on the last one. Compare two versions side by side, wipe between them or show what changed, and send a package to several reviewers with a due date.
- Versions stacked per cut
- Compare side by side, with a wipe, or by what changed, and choose which version you hear
- Review packages for several reviewers, with due dates
- Your team signs off before a cut reaches the client
- Watermarked review copies
- A 4-digit password on any review link, and a password on a review package on Studio
Approval on the record
When the client approves, their name goes on that version and the record is kept as it was. The final invoice follows, and the delivery opens once it is paid.
- Client approval by typed name, or by signature on a personal sign-off link
- A permanent approval record
- Revision rounds counted against the contract
- An extra round drafts its invoice for you, or sends it if you choose
Your editor's side
Notes go back to the edit in the format your software reads, so nobody retypes them.
- Export notes for DaVinci Resolve, Avid or Final Cut Pro, or as Premiere Pro markers
- A spreadsheet or a PDF print sheet of the notes for everyone else
- Send proxies from Cutvey Offload to Review
- Transcripts you can search, with captions as SRT or VTT
- Reviewers a client forwards the link to can leave an email for replies

Questions people ask
Does my client need an account to review?
No. They open the link, watch and leave notes. A client who wants to see every project together can sign in to your portal with a code sent to their email.
What happens when they ask for one round too many?
Cutvey counts the rounds against what they signed. An extra round drafts its invoice for you to check, or sends it straight away if you chose that.
Can I review in 4K?
Yes. Cuts play in up to 4K in Cutvey's own player, with smaller versions for slower connections.
