Unreleased campaigns, contracts, money and footage pass through Cutvey. Here is how the product protects them, in plain words.
- No passwords to steal
You sign in with a short-lived code sent to your email. There is no password to reuse or leak.
- Two-step verification
Turn on an authenticator app with one-time recovery codes, sign out every session at once, and approve a sign-in from the Cutvey app on your phone.
- Roles that fit the job
Owner, admin, producer, editor, finance, accountant and crew. Finance sees the money, editors see the edits, and clients see only what you share with them.
- An audit log
Signatures, payments, permission changes and deletions are logged with who did it and when. Each e-signature keeps a record of who signed, when, and from where.
- Uploads checked
Uploaded files are checked for viruses on Cutvey's own media server, and a file that fails is kept away from everyone.
- Your data, exportable
While your account is active, download a full export of your workspace's records, export lists as spreadsheets, and erase a person's details on request. Your media stays in your projects and Files.
Behind the features
The app sits behind Cloudflare, and the server only accepts traffic that comes through it. Enterprise workspaces can sign in through their own identity provider with single sign-on (OIDC), for people who already have a seat.
You can cancel online, even without signing in, and export your workspace first. After a paid plan ends your data is kept for a limited period, 30 days today, and after a trial ends for a limited period, 60 days today. Then it may be deleted.
