What it is

Cutvey is production management software for video production companies, made by Cutvey LLC in Orlando, Florida. It launched publicly on November 1, 2026, and signup is open. It runs a job from the first inquiry to the final payment in one web app: leads, proposals that are also the contract, e-signature, crew booking and call sheets, timecoded video review, payment-gated delivery, galleries, invoices, bookkeeping and messages. It is at app.cutvey.com, with a native Cutvey app for iPhone, iPad and Mac.

Who it is for

Video production companies, videographers, filmmakers, commercial and documentary studios, wedding filmmakers and freelance shooters first; photographers and hybrid photo and video studios too. Crew booked through Cutvey get a free crew account.

Plans and prices

  • Solo: $49 a month, or $29 a month billed yearly ($348 a year). 1 person, 10 active projects, 10 proposals a month, 1,000 leads and contacts, 100 crew, 100 GB of storage.
  • Pro: $99 a month, or $59 a month billed yearly ($708 a year). 5 people, 50 active projects, 50 proposals a month, 5,000 leads and contacts, 500 crew, 500 GB of storage, your own email sending domain, API and webhooks, and connecting ChatGPT or Claude.
  • Studio: $199 a month, or $119 a month billed yearly ($1,428 a year). 20 people, unlimited projects, proposals, contacts and crew, 2 TB of storage, Cutvey branding removed and your own web address for clients.
  • Enterprise: a custom quote, with storage, AI actions and Offload Macs set in the agreement, and single sign-on (OIDC).
  • Extra seats are $10 a month a seat, or $120 a year on a yearly plan: up to 2 on Solo, 5 on Pro and 500 on Studio. Extra storage is 200 GB for $15 a month or 1 TB for $30 a month, or on a yearly plan $180 a year for 200 GB and $360 a year for 1 TB.
  • Billing yearly always costs 40% less than billing monthly. That is the only discount, and add-ons cost the same either way. Prices are in US dollars, before tax.
  • Unlimited means no fixed number applies. Technical limits, abuse protections and the Terms still apply.
  • Free trial: 14 days of the plan you pick, in full, with no card. 30 days through a customer's referral link.
  • Clients pay the studio through the studio's own Stripe account. Cutvey does not currently take a cut of those payments; Stripe charges its usual fees.

Included apps

  • Cutvey Offload (Mac): 1 Mac on Solo, 2 on Pro, 5 on Studio, and what the agreement sets on Enterprise. Sold on its own at $19.99 per Mac per year, or $199.99 per Mac once.
  • Cutvey Meter, Cutvey Viewfinder and Cutvey Teleprompter: one for each person on a paid plan. Each is $19.99 once on its own.

Automatic mileage tracking

The Cutvey app on iPhone can log each drive for your tax mileage log, for seats that can manage finances, on every paid plan. Each person turns it on for themselves in the app's Settings > Mileage; it is off until they do. Tracked trips wait on the Books > Mileage page, in the app or on the web, to be marked business or personal. Only the two ends of a trip, its times and its distance reach Cutvey; the route stays on the phone. It is not on iPad, Mac or Android.

Languages

The studio app and everything a client sees are available in 41 languages, including right-to-left Arabic, Hebrew and Farsi.

Integrations

Stripe for payments and for bank feeds (US business accounts, books in US dollars). Your own Gmail for sending studio mail, send only, with Google's approval of that access. Google and Outlook calendars. QuickBooks Online or Xero, one at a time and one way: invoices, payments, voids, refunds and write-offs go from Cutvey to your books, and nothing comes back but your lists of accounts and tax codes. A Slack app with a choice of channels. A REST API and webhooks (Pro and up), Zapier, added from Cutvey by invite link (Pro and up), and a connector for ChatGPT or Claude (Pro and up).

What Cutvey does not do

  • It is not an editing app, and its AI never edits footage.
  • It does not process payments through PayPal or Square. A bank wire or a payment app can only appear as instructions on an invoice.
  • It does not fulfill print orders through a print lab; the studio fulfills its own.
  • It does not run payroll.
  • It is not an archive or a backup. Keep your own masters.
  • It does not sync every event both ways with your calendar. It keeps a Cutvey calendar in Google or Outlook and respects your busy times.
  • Each workspace bills in one currency.
  • It holds no SOC 2 or ISO certification.
