Unlimited means no fixed number applies. Technical limits, abuse protections and the Terms still apply.
Crew who log in to see their call sheets and send you invoices never count as people on your plan. Leads, contacts and crew count only active records. Extra people do not add Cutvey Offload Macs. Each AI action is help on the business side: a draft, a check or a receipt read. It never edits your footage. Prices are in US dollars, before tax.
Add more when you need it
Add up to 2 people on Solo, up to 5 on Pro and up to 500 on Studio. On a yearly plan a seat is $120 a year, the same rate as monthly.
Every month, on top of what your plan includes. On an annual plan it is $180 for 200 GB and $360 for 1 TB a year, the same rate as monthly. Nothing is billed by surprise: when you are full, uploads stop until you add room.
Or $199.99 per Mac once, for a lifetime license on that Mac. Before tax.
Payments go to your own Stripe account. Stripe charges its usual fees, and Cutvey does not currently take a cut.
Billing yearly always costs 40% less than billing monthly. That is the only discount a plan has, and add-ons cost the same either way. Plans renew automatically, monthly or yearly, until you cancel. Payments are not refundable, except as section 8.6 of the Terms sets out. Cutvey Free is for crew and clients invited into a paid workspace: one seat and 1 GB of storage, with none of the plan limits above, because it runs no productions of its own.
Questions about plans
What happens when my trial ends?
Pick a plan and carry on where you left off. If you do not, your work is kept for a limited period, 60 days today, so you can come back to it, then it may be deleted.
Do I need a card to start the trial?
No. The trial is 14 days of the plan you pick, in full, with no card. Switch plans as often as you like while you try.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes, online, without talking to anyone. Your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for and does not renew. You can export your workspace first (your files stay in their projects, so download the ones you want), and your data is kept for a limited period, 30 days today, after the plan ends, then it may be deleted.
What happens when I reach a limit?
Nothing breaks. You see how to get more: add a person, add storage, or move up a plan. Leads, contacts and crew count only active records, so archiving old ones frees up room. Storage has no overage: when you are full, uploads stop until you add room.
Are Cutvey Offload and the iPhone apps really included?
Yes. Every person on a paid plan can turn on Meter, Viewfinder and Teleprompter by signing in, and your plan covers Cutvey Offload on 1, 2 or 5 Macs. Extra people do not add Offload Macs.
Do my clients and crew need an account?
No. Clients open a link to sign, review, pay or download, and can sign in to your portal with a code sent to their email. Crew get a free account for their gigs, and never count as people on your plan.
How do payments and fees work?
Clients pay by card or bank through your own Stripe account, so the money goes straight to you. Stripe charges its usual fees, and Cutvey does not currently take a cut. A bank wire or a payment app can appear on the invoice as instructions.
How do I move my work over?
Do it yourself in an afternoon. Import your clients, leads, open invoices and active projects from a spreadsheet, with ready-made settings for HoneyBook and Dubsado exports. Cutvey shows you what it will create before anything is saved.
What does Cutvey connect to?
Google and Outlook calendars, your own Gmail for studio mail, QuickBooks Online or Xero (a one-way sync of invoices, payments, voids, refunds and write-offs), Slack, and on Pro and up the API, webhooks and Zapier. Payments run through your own Stripe account.
