Deliver and get paid
Invoices go out, reminders chase them during your working hours, and the money lands in your own Stripe account. The final files open once the cut is approved and the balance is paid.
Invoices that chase themselves
Deposit, milestone and final invoices come from the job, with your logo. Reminders go out on the studio's clock, so nobody gets a payment nudge at 3 AM.
- Deposit, milestone and final invoices, partial payments and late fees
- Reminders in a gentle, standard or firm rhythm, plus a heads-up before the due date
- Retainers and payment schedules
- A billing copy to the client's accounts team
- Sales tax by the project's region
Paid into your own Stripe
Clients pay by card or bank on a page with your name on it. The money goes to your own Stripe account, and Cutvey does not currently take a cut.
- Card, bank and the other methods you turn on at Stripe
- Bank wire or a payment app shown as instructions
- Autopay for retainers and payment schedules, when the client opts in
- Tips, and a card fee you choose to pass on (off by default, credit cards only, in the places it is offered)
- One billing currency a workspace, from the 24 Stripe settles in
Delivery that waits for the money
The delivery page shows what is coming and opens the downloads once the cut is approved and the invoice is paid. You can still release it early, with a reason.
- Payment-gated downloads, a ZIP of everything
- Password, invite and expiry date
- Download counts
- A check of each file against the delivery spec: codec, resolution, frame rate, length and audio
Galleries for photos and video
Proof and deliver in a branded gallery. Clients pick favorites, download what you allow, and buy what you sell.
- Proofing with favorites and sets
- Video, RAW files and slideshow music
- Download packages, coupons and sales tax
- Print orders you fulfill yourself
- Copy a client's picks into Lightroom's filter by filename
A portal your client returns to
Their projects, documents and invoices, under your name. Clients sign in with a code sent to their email.
- Projects, documents, invoices and messages
- Change orders the client signs, with their invoice
- A short survey after delivery
- Remove Cutvey branding, on your own web address, on Studio
Files and crew invoices
Store and share files on the project, and let crew send you their invoices with the document attached.
- Files: share, embed a video, take uploads from a client, and archive a finished project's media
- Crew invoices you approve and pay, with contractor totals
- W-9s and 1099 totals for US crew

Questions people ask
Does Cutvey take a cut of my payments?
Not today. Clients pay into your own Stripe account. Stripe charges its usual fees, and Cutvey does not currently take a cut.
Can a client pay by bank wire?
Your invoice can show your bank wire details or one payment app as instructions. Card and bank payments online run through your Stripe account.
Can I release the files before they pay?
Yes. Release a locked delivery early and write down why. It changes nothing on the invoice, which still shows what is owed.
