Favorites, lists and selections

Proofing is how your client tells you which photos they love. They can favorite, sort photos into lists, leave notes, and send you a final selection.
What your client can do
- Tap the heart to favorite a photo.
- Make named lists, for example one for the album and one for the parents.
- Leave a note on a single photo.
- Press Submit selection when they are done.
Set the rules
Open Gallery settings and go to Proofing:
- Choose at least and Choose at most set how many photos a selection needs.
- Instructions for the client explains what to do, for example "Pick your 40 favorites for the album, then press Submit selection."
See what they picked
On the gallery you will find:
- Submitted selections, exactly as each one was when the client pressed Submit.
- Favorites and Notes on photos, newest first.
- Most picked and downloaded, to see what people love most.
Use Export CSV or Per-photo CSV if you want the details in a spreadsheet.
Find the photos in Lightroom
On a submitted selection, press Copy filenames. In Lightroom's Library, open the filter bar, choose Text, then Filename, then Contains, and paste. Lightroom shows just the photos your client picked.
