RAW files in a gallery

Some clients want the RAW files. You can put them in a gallery, where they are delivered as downloads.

Which files

Cutvey takes these camera RAW formats: CR2, CR3, NEF, ARW, DNG, RAF, ORF and RW2. Each file can be up to 300 MB.

How they appear

Most cameras save a preview picture inside the RAW file. Cutvey uses it as the tile, so the gallery looks like your photos. If a file has no preview, it shows as a plain RAW file tile and can still be downloaded.

RAW files are downloads. Downloads follow the gallery's usual rules, so a PIN, a limit or payment first all apply.

The location is taken out

Many cameras and phones save where a photo was taken. Before a RAW file is stored, Cutvey takes the location out. If it cannot be certain the location is gone, it does not store the file and tells you why.

Other reasons a file is refused

  • It does not open as the RAW type its name says.
  • It is too large to check.
  • There is no room left in your storage.
  • Too many arrived at once. Try that file again.

Every refusal names the file, so you know exactly which one to fix.
