Client languages

On this page

Cutvey speaks your client's language. The words Cutvey writes on a proposal, an invoice, the portal, a review page, a gallery or a call sheet, and in the emails that carry them, can be in any of 41 languages.

The languages

English (US and UK), French (France and Canada), German, Spanish (Spain and Latin America), Italian, Portuguese (Portugal and Brazil), Dutch, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, Polish, Czech, Slovak, Hungarian, Romanian, Croatian, Slovenian, Lithuanian, Latvian, Estonian, Greek, Russian, Ukrainian, Bulgarian, Turkish, Catalan, Bahasa Indonesia, Vietnamese, Thai, Hebrew, Arabic, Farsi, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese (Traditional and Simplified). Hebrew, Arabic and Farsi read right to left.

Which language a client gets

Cutvey looks in three places, in this order:

  1. The document's own language. A proposal can have its own, set in the composer.
  2. The person's language, set as Language on their client record.
  3. Your workspace's language for clients, set in Settings > Company under Client documents and emails are in.

If none is set, it is English (US).

What is translated, and what is not

Cutvey's own words are translated: buttons, headings, labels, totals, dates and money in the reader's format, and the emails Cutvey sends.

Your own words are never translated. The proposal you wrote, your line items, your notes and your messages stay exactly as you typed them. Write them in the client's language if you want the whole document in it.

Your own language in the app

Each person on your team chooses the language of the app for themselves on their Profile. A few newer words may show in English until their translation has been checked.

Good to know

The help center and cutvey.com are in English.
