Connect your bank
Connecting your bank means you never import a statement again. Cutvey reads your posted transactions once a day through Stripe, and they land in Books ready to sort.
Link an account
- Go to Books > Transactions and choose Connect a bank account. If you use double-entry accounting, you can also start from Banking with Link account.
- Choose the Books account the bank feeds, and the day to start from. Your bank can share up to 180 days of history.
- Read what Cutvey will and will not do with your bank data, then press Continue to your bank.
- Stripe opens. Find your bank, sign in there, and choose the one bank account that matches.
You can link checking, savings and credit card accounts, never one marked personal. Each Books account takes one bank account, and a workspace can connect up to 10.
What arrives, and when
New lines arrive once a day. To fetch them sooner, press Refresh now. Only posted lines come in; a pending line waits until your bank posts it.
Your rules apply to each line as it arrives. See Import transactions and set rules.
What Cutvey keeps
Cutvey keeps the date, amount and description of each posted line. It does not store your bank's name, your account number or its last four digits, your balance or your bank login. The bank and account names you see are read live from Stripe and not kept.
Your bank data is never sold, never used for credit decisions and never used to train AI. Cutvey support cannot see your bank lines.
Disconnect
Anyone with the Invoices & finances permission can press Disconnect. Lines already in Books stay where they are.
