Three lists in the project's Plan section feed the call sheet: where you shoot, who is in front of the camera, and what you bring.

Locations

Open Plan > Locations and press Add location. Give it an address (Cutvey suggests addresses as you type), a Scouting status (Option, On hold or Confirmed), a contact and phone, and notes on Parking, Power, the Permit and the weather, such as a rain plan. Add a cover photo and more photos from the scout.

Under Shoot days at this location, tick each day you shoot there. The call sheet for each of those days uses this location, with its parking and contact.

We shot here before lists locations from your other projects. Use here copies the address, parking, power, permit, notes, contact and cover photo.

Cast

Open Plan > Cast and press Add cast member. Add their role, email, availability, wardrobe notes, a headshot and the days they are called. Cast appear on the call sheet for the days they are called.

With an email and a release template, press Request release to send a release to sign. The cast list shows each release as sent, viewed or signed. See Collect releases on set.

A cast member's rate is shown only to people who can see money.

The shoot's gear list

Open Plan > Gear and press Add gear. Add what the shoot needs, pick items from your Gear inventory, or start from a saved kit. For each line, set the quantity, whether it is owned or rented, and for a rental the vendor, cost, pickup and return dates. Tick lines as they are packed.

Items from your inventory can be booked for the shoot days in one press, so nobody else takes them. See Book, check out and return gear.

Rental costs on this list count toward the project's actual cost on its Money page.

Good to know

  • Each list can hold up to 2,000 rows, and Download PDF prints any of them.
  • In the project's Settings you choose whether booked crew can read the locations. Clients do not see these lists.
