A moodboard can do more than sit on a canvas. Present it in a meeting, hand over a lookbook PDF, or show it on your website.

Present

Press Present on the board. The presentation walks the board one step at a time: each heading, each column and each board inside it, then everything else. Use the arrows or Next step and Previous step, and All steps to jump.

To set your own order, open Presentation:

  • Drag steps into the order you want, rename them, or hide a step you do not want to show.
  • Select cards on the board and press Add selection as a step.
  • Reset to automatic puts the steps back the way the board lays them out.

A presentation holds up to 200 steps. Presentation link copies a link that opens straight into the presentation. A hidden step and its name never reach a client.

Download a lookbook

Press Download lookbook for a PDF built from the same steps: each step on a page, the notes in full, the palette, and the credits and sources of every picture and link. Hide steps in Presentation to leave them out of the PDF.

Turn on Client can download the lookbook to add Download as PDF to the board your client opens.

A lookbook holds up to 300 pages. For a very large board, download a board inside it on its own.

Export the board

Export saves the open board as a picture (PNG, up to 8,192 pixels across) or as a one-page PDF. Nothing on the board changes.

Use it in a proposal

Add a Moodboard block to a proposal and it takes a snapshot of the board into the document. The snapshot does not change when the board does, and the client signs the proposal as it reads.

Show it on your website

In the board's sharing options, turn on Show on a website. Cutvey asks you to confirm, because anyone who visits that page will see everything on the board and every board inside it. Then press Copy code and paste it into your site.

A board on a website is read only, and every player on it shows as an "Open in" link instead of playing in place. Turn the switch off to take the board down everywhere, or press Make a new code so the old code stops working.
