Follow-ups and expiry

A proposal that sits unsigned gets a gentle follow-up queue, and an expiry date that keeps the offer fresh. Nothing is sent behind your back.

Follow-ups

Set your days in Settings > Proposals > Follow up if unsigned after (days). The default is 3, 7 and 14 days. You can have up to six, each between 1 and 90 days.

On each day, the proposal appears in the Follow-up queue, linked from the top of Sales > Proposals. Open it, read the draft, and press Send follow-up.

Follow-ups stop by themselves when the client signs, replies, or the proposal is marked lost or withdrawn.

Expiry

Set the default length in Settings > Proposals > Valid for (days), and change it on any proposal in its settings sheet. An expiry change applies at once, even on a sent proposal.

  • Three days before the date, the client gets one reminder that the proposal is about to expire. It never goes out on the day you send.
  • After the date, signing is refused. The client sees a short notice instead of the proposal, with a way to reach you.

Bring an expired proposal back

Open it, set a new expiry date, and send it again. The client's link works again from that moment.
