Withdraw a proposal

On this page

Withdraw a proposal when you need to pull it back, for example to change the scope after a call. The client's link closes, and the deal is not counted as lost.

Withdraw it

  1. Open the sent or viewed proposal's record.
  2. Press Withdraw and confirm.

What happens

  • The client's link closes. They see a short note asking them to contact you.
  • A time they booked before signing is released, and they are told.
  • Any follow-ups waiting in your queue are canceled.
  • The proposal moves to the Draft tab with a Withdrawn badge.
  • Your reports show it as withdrawn, not as lost.

Send it again

Make your changes, then press Send again. The same link opens again for your client. If the expiry date has passed while it was withdrawn, Cutvey asks you for a new date first.

Withdraw or mark lost?

Withdraw when the conversation is still going and you plan to send again. Use Mark as lost when the client said no or the job went elsewhere, so your win rate stays accurate.
