The sample workspace
A new workspace is never empty. Cutvey adds one sample of each main thing, so you can open a real lead, a real project and a real invoice and see how they connect before you add your own work.
What you get
- A sample lead with a history and notes, so you can see how a conversation builds up, and a discovery call on your calendar.
- A sample client, with a sample project of its own: tasks, a shot list, a moodboard, crew booked on the shoot day, a call sheet and a cut ready for review.
- A sample form, a sample proposal and a sample invoice. The proposal and the invoice stay drafts.
Every sample carries a clear Sample mark, so it is never mistaken for real work.
What samples never do
- They never send email. A send button on a sample tells you it is a sample, and nobody receives anything.
- They never count toward your plan's limits, so they do not use a project, a contact, a crew place, a proposal or storage.
- They are never money. The sample proposal can never be signed, the sample invoice can never be sent or paid, and nothing counts in your reports or your books.
Delete the samples
When you are ready for a clean workspace, press Delete all samples, or Delete this sample on any one of them. Everything inside a sample goes with it, and your own work stays. An owner or admin can do this.
If something of your own is built on a sample, or records money on one, Cutvey keeps that sample and tells you why. Once deleted, samples do not come back.
