Your first hour in Cutvey
Cutvey walks you through a short setup the first time you sign in. It takes about ten minutes, and you can change every answer later in Settings.
The setup steps
Each step shows where you are, with Continue to move on and Finish setup at the end.
- What do you make? Pick the kinds of work you do, like Brand & commercial, Weddings, Documentary or Photography. Your picks load matching proposal templates, so your first proposal starts close to done.
- Make it yours. Press Upload logo (PNG or JPG), check your studio name and pick a color. A live preview shows what your clients will see.
- How you get paid. Choose your currency, time zone, date style and the language of client documents, plus the upfront payment you usually ask for. To take card payments, press Connect Stripe in the Take card payments card, or do it later.
- Bring your team. Invite the people you work with. Crew are free and never use a seat. Solo workspaces skip this step.
When you finish, Cutvey tells you your studio is ready and opens your dashboard.
A good first hour
- Connect Stripe so clients can pay online. See Connect Stripe.
- Bring in your clients and open work. See Move from HoneyBook or Dubsado.
- Send yourself a proposal from one of the templates, to see what a client sees. See Send your first proposal.
- Open Settings (the gear in the sidebar) and look through Branding, Payments and Proposals. Those three shape almost every document you send.
Where to find things
The sidebar holds your work: Dashboard, Leads, Proposals, Projects, Crew, Books and more. Settings lives behind the gear at the bottom. If you get stuck, press Help & feedback in the sidebar and write to us, or talk to a person.
Thank you. We are glad it helped.
Sorry it missed. Tell us what you were looking for and a person will answer.
