Connect Gmail and the emails your studio sends from Cutvey go out through your own Gmail account. Clients see your address, and the mail sits in your Sent folder like any other.

Connect Gmail

  1. Open Settings > Integrations and find Email sending.
  2. Press Connect Gmail and sign in with Google.
  3. Press Send a test email to see it arrive.

Cutvey asks Google only for permission to send. It cannot read your inbox.

What goes through Gmail

Your studio's own mail: proposals, invoices, reminders, review links, call sheets and messages to clients and crew. Some emails always come from Cutvey instead, such as sign-in codes, signing codes and Cutvey's own account emails.

If Gmail turns an email away, Cutvey sends it the usual way, so nothing is lost.

Replies

When a client replies, it reaches you first, and for mail about a project it also reaches the project's conversation in Cutvey. So you can answer from either place.

Disconnect

Press Disconnect on the same card. Cutvey deletes its access at once, and your mail goes out from Cutvey again.
