Collect leads from your website

A lead capture form is the inquiry form on your website. Each time someone fills it in, a new lead lands in your pipeline with their answers.

Build a form

  1. Go to Settings > Lead Capture and press Build & embed forms. You can also reach the builder from Sales > Leads through Capture forms.
  2. Press Create form, add your questions, and save.
  3. Press Copy embed code to put the form on your website, or Copy direct link to share it on its own.

Your plan includes Solo 1 form, Pro 5, Studio 20 and Enterprise unlimited.

The website switch

Your classic website form, the website chatbot and the leads connection for developers sit behind one switch: Accept leads from your website on Settings > Lead Capture. It starts off. Turn it on and the embed code carries your workspace's site key.

If a key ever ends up somewhere it should not, press Replace the key. The old key stops working, so update the code on your site.

Leads and your plan

Every website lead counts toward your plan's contacts limit, like any other lead. When the limit is reached, your form tells the visitor it is not taking inquiries right now. It never mentions your plan.

What comes next

Each lead from a form appears under Sales > Leads with its answers. You can start a workflow when a new lead comes in, so they get a warm reply right away. See Automate the steps with workflows.
