Send a form to a client

Any form you build can be sent to a client on its own: a creative brief, a wedding questionnaire, a shot wish list. The answers land on the project and on the client's record.

Before you start

Build the form once in the form builder (Settings > Lead Capture > Build & embed forms). The same forms are used for lead capture, for booking questions and for sending on their own.

Send it

  1. Open the project's Plan page, or the client's record.
  2. Press Send a form.
  3. Choose the Form. Under Send to, leave it empty to send to the client on file, or type another address.
  4. Add a short note if you like, and press Send form.

Your client gets an email with a link. They answer on a simple page, and the form also shows as a to-do in their client portal until it is done.

Read the answers

The Forms card on the project and on the client shows each form, with Waiting for answers, the reminder date, or the answers. Press Show answers to read them.

Take a form back

Sent the wrong one? Press Withdraw on the form, and its link stops taking answers.

Forms and leads

A form you send to a client never creates a new lead. Lead capture forms on your website do; see Collect leads from your website.
