Leads, clients and your pipeline
A lead is anyone who might hire you. Your pipeline is the board that shows where each one stands, from the first email to a signed job.
Add a lead
Go to Sales > Leads and press New Lead. You can:
- Enter manually, with the name, contact details and what they need.
- Scan a business card and check what Cutvey read.
- Use Draft lead from email to paste an inquiry and let Cutvey fill in the fields.
Leads also arrive on their own from your website forms, your booking page and, if you allow it, your galleries.
Move leads through the pipeline
The default stages are New, Contacted, Qualified, Proposal Sent, Won and Lost. Drag a lead to move it, or change its stage on its page. To rename, add or reorder stages, go to Settings > Pipeline & Board.
From lead to client
Sending a proposal and getting it signed creates the client and the project for you. If you agreed the work another way, open the lead and press Make a client.
Clients live under Sales > Clients, with every project, invoice and message for that client on their page.
Your contacts limit
Your plan counts active leads and clients together: Solo up to 1,000, Pro up to 5,000, Studio and Enterprise unlimited. Leads marked won or lost and archived clients do not count, and imported contacts count like any other.
Thank you. We are glad it helped.
