Make Cutvey fit how you work

Cutvey does a lot. You do not have to see all of it. These settings shape the workspace around the work you actually do.

Hide what you do not use

Go to Settings > Modules and choose which parts of Cutvey show in your menu. Hiding a module deletes nothing, and you can bring anything back any time. A few core parts are always on.

Simple mode keeps just the core workflow: leads, proposals, projects and invoices. Show everything brings the rest back.

Your own fields

Go to Settings > Custom Fields to add fields to Leads, Projects, Crew and Clients: text, a number, a date, a select or multiselect, a checkbox or a file. No field is ever required. Your fields show on each record.

Gear has its own fields, in Gear settings.

Your stages and phases

Settings > Pipeline & Board sets the stages of your lead pipeline and the phases of your project board. Rename them, reorder them, or start from a preset for commercial, wedding and event, social content or documentary work. See Projects, phases and the project board.

Notifications

Settings > Notifications decides which events reach people, and where: in the app, by email, as a push to the Cutvey app on phone, iPad and Mac, and in Slack. Turning an event off stops its notification at once.

Each person can also choose what reaches them on their own Profile. A switch that is off for the whole workspace shows dimmed there.

Regional formats and language

In Settings > Company, set your Currency, Date format and Time format, used everywhere dates, times and money appear. Client documents and emails are in sets the language clients get. Each person picks the app's language for themselves on Profile. See Client languages.

Your brand

Your logo and colors are in Settings > Branding. See Add your logo and colors.
